If you mean what type of color is black and white combined, it's gray. If you mean what type of color are each individually. White is technically the absence of all color and black is the presence of all color. This is in the subtractive color theory, which is used in talking about paints, inks, dyes, etc.
If you are talking about light, white is the presence of the full color spectrum, and black is the total absence of all color.
