Inerrancy refers to the truth of Scripture. The Bible's witness to itself testifies to a record of truth spoken by God and the Holy Spirit (Ex. 20:1, Isa. 1:2, Acts 1:16, Hebrews 1:1-2; 3:7, 2 Peter 1:21). The word "inspired" used to describe the origin and nature of Scripture in 2 Timothy 3:16, literally means "God inspired" or "God breathed out." Although God used many people to physically write the words of Scripture (Ecc. 1:1, Jer. 36:2-4), the Bible is clear that the words written issued from divine initiative. Because God is truth (Numbers 23:19, Jer. 10:10, John 15:26; 17:3, Titus 1:2), His revelation in Scripture is true and entirely trustworthy (Ps. 19:7, Prov. 30:5-6, John 10:35, 1 Timothy 1:15, 2 Timothy 3:16).

Answer:

"Sanctify them [set them apart for Your Holy use] through Thy Truth: Thy Word is TRUTH." (John 17:17)
