Where are freeways first mentioned in the Bible?

"Freeways"are a modern creation with high-speed 2- and 4-lane roadways. The roads in bible times were mostly dirt roads for travel with camels, horses, donkeys, etc. Some main Roman roads connecting large cities would be paved but not close to a modern "freeway".

The term '"highway" or roads in some translations first appears inNumbers 20:17.

"We will go along the king’s highway, not turning to the right or left, until we pass through your territory.”
