NO one actually knows. However, you can bet that they began to build houses and whatnot. Then they would of gotten busy, if you know what I mean, and started to have a lot of children. They would have had it pretty tough with everything being so wet, and having to control all the animals, because they wouldn't of gone straight away and fled to the corners of the earth, they would have stuck around a bit. I think.
All persons alive today are the descendants of Noah (everyone except he and his sons and their wives perished in the Flood). Noah's three sons' names were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Shem's descendants, the Semetic people, settled Asia and the Middle East. Japheth's descendants settled Europe. And Ham's descendants settled in Africa and establishing the first great post-Flood civilizations, including Egypt (which is called the land of Ham in Psalm 78:51; 105:23, 27). For more specific information on a particular group of people, check out the genealogies in the Bible. But these are the basic divisions. Shem:Asian/Arab/Jewish/etc. Ham:African/Aboriginal?/etc. Japheth:European/Caucasian/etc.
Nah, Abraham is a decendant of Shem. You can follow his bloodline in Genesis 11 after the tower of Babel story (obviously Abraham is still called Abram here).
When the God flooded the earth there were but eight souls saved. Moses and his wife. Shen, Japeth and Ham and their wives. Shem and Japeth married within the covenant but Ham married outside the covenant in that he married a woman of the lineage of Cain who you will remember was cursed with a dark skin. This woman was named Egyptus after her mother. When the ark came to rest they went their separate ways, Ham and Egyptus went to a piece of land which they called Egypt. Most of their children and their childrens children were born with dark skins.
Some have associated the number 500 with Judgement. This is probably from the verse saying Noah was 500 yrs old when He began building the Ark:Genesis 5:32New International Version (NIV) 32 After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham and Japheth.
The Canaanites were descendants of Canaan. Canaan was the son of Ham. Ham was the son of Noah.
After the Great Flood, Noah's sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, settled in different regions. Shem settled in the Middle East, Ham settled in Africa, and Japheth settled in Europe and Asia.
Eight. Noah and his wife. Three sons, Shem,Ham, Jaheth and their wives.
The Bible has the :-Gen 10:1-32 KJV Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons [ie Noah's grandsons] born after the flood. [v. 2] The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. [v. 3] ... [v. 6] And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. [v. 7] ... [v. 22] The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram. ... [v. 32] These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
The sons of Noah settled in different regions after the flood. Shem's descendants settled in the Middle East, Ham's descendants settled in Africa, and Japheth's descendants settled in Europe and Asia.
Shem
Noah.
The Bible only mentions the three sons that Noah had pre-flood. Shem, Ham, and Japheth. After listing 70 offspring of the sons of Noah, the Genesis account says: “From these the nations were spread about in the earth.”—Ge 10:32 This Scripture indicates that Noah didn't have other sons post-flood.
He was one of Noah's three sons, who are Shem, Ham and Japheth (Genesis ch.5). According to tradition, he was the ancestor of the peoples who live in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as the ancient Egyptians, Canaanites, Philistines and others (Genesis ch.10).
Shem, Ham and Japheth See the Bible Genesis 6:10
Its actually a fairly amusing story. In Genesis 9:20-25, you can read that Noah got drunk and fell asleep naked in his tent (this is after the flood, by the way). Noah's son Ham then sees him laying there, and tells his other brothers, Shem and Japheth. Shem and Japheth are respectful enough to not look at their father as they cover him with a blanket. When Noah wakes up, he is angry at Shem for disrespecting him and cursed him.
Shem descendants migrated to Mesopotamia,Syria, northern Arabia, cantral Asia ,east Asia(far east),north & south America(native American). Japheth descendants go to Europe, central Asia(they mixed with Shem descendant in central asia) and they were ancestor of Persians , Aryan Indians ,European & all of Indo-European group. Ham descendants go to Egypt , north Africa, southern Arabia, Ethiopia, Africa, and live in Canaan(Canaanites that Jews eliminated them). After Noah died, the three brothers buried him on the side of Ararat, in a coffin made of wood from the Ark. Japheth said goodbye to his brothers and went off north with his sons. They crossed the Caucasus and lived in the Kuban river valley in south Russia. Shem and Ham went off south to Syria, where Shem built Damascus. Shem and Ham quarreled, and Ham left in a huff. He went to Jordan and built his own city of Ham. But it was in a bad location, and never grew to more than a village. Ham's large fierce sons left their father and went off to Africa to cause trouble.
