It depends on the version of the bible that you reference. In the Good News Bible it states in Genesis "Then God said, "And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us."
Because many Christians today don't get what they need from God's word. There not following what the Bible says. But don't judge all of us by some of us.
Because when you sin it is being disobedient to what the Bible tells us to do.
