Proverbs 3:5 --- Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
If by 'heart' you mean the center of the Bible, then in the King James Bible that has 31,174 verses - which is even - therefore the center verse would be between the halfway point of 15, 587-88 verses. This is often considered to be the following: 'It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.'Psalm 118:8. Reading 118:9 is basically the same words but man is now specific as 'princes.'The heart of the bible is the message Christ left us.
Arguably, the verse in the exact middle of the Bible is Psalm 118:8. It says: "It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man." (NIV)
Proverbs 3:3
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
There is no verse that says that but there is none that says:Matthew 12:34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
It means learning the verse by heart.
