The word Christianity is found no where in The Bible. Christianity is the term used to identify a way of life based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

ANOTHER ANSWER:

That depends upon the "translation" of the Bible you're reading. Some of the modern more liberal English translations use the word "Christian and Christians" more extensively than the, say, King James Version, which stays more within the parameters of what would be regarded as "the originally inspired manuscripts."

The King James Version, for instance, records the "THREE inspired" occurrences of "Christian": ONCE in the PLURAL sense [Acts 11:26] and TWICE in the SINGULAR. [Acts 26:28 & I Peter 4:16].

But the word "Christianity' isn't there at all.

The "New Living Translation" of the Bible, however, uses the words "Christian" and "Christians" quite extensively where the Holy Spirit didn't inspire it in any of the original manuscripts.

And it uses the word "Christianity" ONCE in Hebrews 6:1:

"So let us stop going over the basics of CHRISTIANITY again and again...".

Where the King James, more faithful to the original inspiration says:

"Therefore leaving the principles of the DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, let us go on unto perfection...".

What the world has come to accept as the religion called "Christianity" is not of Holy Spirit inspiration, but the labeling of men.

The scriptures reveal: "...the disciples WERE CALLED Christians FIRST in Antioch." (Acts 11:26)

Understand that the Holy Spirit didn't inspire God's servants to be called that! God's servants WERE CALLED "Christians" by MEN who were NOT servants of God. The people of Antioch were GENTILES, not reared in the Laws of God as the Jews were. But some of them were converted by Saul and Barnabas in the teachings of the Scriptures for A WHOLE YEAR [verse 26].

And it was the UN- converted folks in Antioch who NAMED them "Christians": which in reality was the equivalent of what was termed back in '60's "Jesus freaks!"

The unconverted Gentiles of Antioch were not being "kind" or "understanding" about the "religious garbage" that Saul and Barnabas were teaching and spreading among their friends and relatives; whom they probably regarded as some today would say, "THEY'RE CULTISTS!"

The calling of God's servants in Antioch "Christians" was a DEROGATORY term... not a complimentary one. Along with the spitting of the word from King Agrippa's mouth... and Peter's warning to God's servants regarding their suffering for being labeled a "Christian" by this world.

And the name that would come to be ignorantly accepted as the next future false religion in the world, "Christianity" wasn't to come into existence until much later -- not inspired by the Holy Spirit, nor recorded in the Scriptures at all -- but would be the inspiration of blinded, deceived, Satan-guided men.

The word "Christianity" is not in the Bible... and the three inspired instances of the words "Christian and Christians" that are recorded are not used in a favorable context toward God's servants.
