Its because their queen ruler was Roxanne, and Roxanne was born 7 days after her father said she would be born. This upset her father so 2 days later, Roxanne's father committed suicide. And because 7+2=, the month was called September. This name was inspired by the Romans.

September, October, November and December do mean 7, 8, 9 & 10, hence their latin prefix's, and WERE the 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th months, before July and August were added later, (Julius & Augustus Ceasars) and stuck in the middle of the calendar. The calendar back then, was only a 10 month year. (that blows the 2012 dooms day theory a bit)
