What are the dimensions of a PCI card?

The original "full-size" PCI card is specified as a height of 107 mm (4.2 inches) and a depth of 312 mm (12.283 inches). The height includes the edge card connector. However, most modern PCI cards are half-length or smaller. The half-length PCI card(now the standard) is 0.6 inch in width, 6.9 inches in depth and 4.2 inches in height. How do you unlock a skeleton key door....without the key?

7 ways. 1 you go to amazon.com and buy a key. 2 you may be able to pick it with a small screw driver. 3 you hire a lock smith from the yellow pages. 4 pop the pins out of the hinges with a hammer and screw driver or nail sink. 5 you may be able to take the lock apart. 6 you pry the door open with a crow bar. 7 try the old credit card trick

What is an internal fan?

Considering the catigory im guessing you are asking What is an internal fan on a computer? A internal fan on a computer is just a fan than is required to keep eaither the whole system or a certain hardware cool during peak or idaling performace they are usally placed to work in 2 diffrent ways. Processor fans are mounted right on top the the processor heat sink witch is virtually glued to the processor. The heat sink directs the heat through vents and is pulled off the processor with a very fast fan. If this did not exist then the processor would not fuction with anywhere of 1 min to 5 mins of operation. thus would couse the processor to over heat and if it has a safety trigger will shut down if not will burn up. There are usally 2 to 3 other main fans in a computer the second most important is the case fan this fan is mounted inside usally on the back or side of the case and can either blow hot air out or cold air in the casing. Also there is aways a power supply fan witch always draws heat away from the power supply and prevents violent surging to coponets. Last but not always or least there sometimes a grapics (video) card fan than pulls heat off the card, these are usally found in higher end grapic cards.

Difference between MS dgree versus ME degree?

The abbreviations "MS" and "ME" can refer to different contexts and have different meanings. Here are two common interpretations: 1. MS as Master of Science and ME as Master of Engineering: Master of Science (MS): It is a postgraduate academic degree typically awarded in scientific or technical fields. It emphasizes research-based learning and involves a thesis or research project. Master of Engineering (ME): It is a professional degree focused on practical applications of engineering knowledge. It usually emphasizes coursework and practical skills rather than research. 2. MS as Multiple Sclerosis and ME as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis: Multiple Sclerosis (MS): It is a chronic autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system. It can lead to various symptoms such as fatigue, muscle weakness, coordination difficulties, and cognitive impairments. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME): It is a complex chronic illness characterized by extreme fatigue, pain, cognitive difficulties, and other symptoms. It is also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). It's important to note that the abbreviations "MS" and "ME" can have other meanings in different contexts as well. The specific interpretation depends on the field or subject matter being discussed. What are the causes of High T5 in solar gas turbine engine?

Your question is a bit to vague to cover everything. You'd need to be specific about the running conditions. High T5 can be caused by overload of the unit as well as a variety of fault conditions. If the unit is running in T5 control mode (ie: full load) and experiences alarms or trips, it may be that T5 gain and integral values need to be adjusted to smooth out the over-shoot. Make sure that the fuel supply pressure to the unit is stable as the fuel system will have to counteract any changes in flow due to oscillations in supply pressure. This can introduce instability in the loop leading to high T5. If the unit is running below T5 in speed control (NGP) and suddenly trips on a very fast rise in T5, it's worth checking the speed probe and connections all the way back to the card. If there's a downward spike in the sensed speed due to loose connection or poor probe gap adjustment, the control system will react by putting in extra fuel to try to get back to the set-point, causing high T5 trip. This will very often be too fast to pick up on HMI or trigger log. There can also be problems with fuel valves that can cause poor temperature stability. Injector fouling is another possibility if your fuel quality is poor. Have a look at the T5 spread to see if they are all reading close to the same value. In very hot climates where the air inlet temperature go very high in the Summer months, you will hit the T5 control mode limit earlier than when the T1 air inlet temperatures are lower. Hope that this helps.

What type of adapter card is normally plugged into a PCIe x16adapter card slot?

Only graphics cards are inserted into a PCIe x16 expansion slot.

Will a PCI x16 graphics card work in a normal PCI slot?

A PCIe x16 graphics card will not work in a normal PCI slot. PCIe or PCI Express is a new standard in expansion interfaces. PCIe is physically and electronically incompatible with PCI slots.

What maximum data rate can you reasonably expect from a 2011 PCIe 2.0 graphics card?

250mb/s

Will a geforce 8600 card fit in a standard Dell optiplex GX270?

no, it has an AGP slot for an AGP graphics card, but a geforce 8600 is a PCIe card

Are pcie 3.0 graphics cards compatible with pcie 2.0 ports?

I presume that you mean to ask whether a PCIe 3.0 card can be used in a PCIe 2.0 slot on your motherboard. The answer to that question is yes. PCIe standards are all backward-compatible, so do not sweat that. For best performance, however, you would prefer to put a PCIe 3.0 card in the same type of slot.

How do you find if you are PCI or PCI Express?

Unless it's a very old computer, your graphics card will be either PCIe (PCI Express) or AGP, and if it was bought within the last... Say, four and a half years, it will definitely be a PCIe setup for graphics with your other component cards running on a PCI bus. If it was a gaming computer sold post-2003ish it will also have a PCIe bus.

What is PCIe 2.0 x16?

it is a port or a connection for a graphics card. It is the second version of PCI express with a speed of x16. To use a graphics card with this, you will need a PCIe 2.0 x16 port on your motherboard. Most modern motherboards have this.

Will a 16x card work in 8x slot?

You cannot plug a x16 graphics card into a x8 slot. You can however, if you wish, plug an x8 card PCIe card into an x16 slot. A p-lane PCIe card will work at some speed in an n-lane PCIe slot, where n > p. This is not true if n < p. So in this situation the card wants 16 lanes but the motherboard can only support 8 For more specific answers though, please post more detailed info such as make and model of hardware

What can be added to a pc by an expansion card?

You can add a ton of different things with PCI/PCIe expansion slots, such as: Graphics card, Sound Card, WIFI card, TV tuner and even SSD's. This list is fairly limited, there are more options, but those are the most common.

Is DDR3 graphics card works with DDR2 mobo?

Short answer: yes it will work. The DDR3 memory on the graphics card is mounted in the GPU's PCB. Power regulation and clock signals for that memory is regulated by the GPU.The DDR2 memory on the motherboard is a completely separate situation with the voltage and clock signal being regulated on the motherboard. The two memory banks have little, if anything to do with each other.A PCIe GPU will work in any PCIe motherboard slot.

What is the difference between PCI express and PCI express 2.0?

New cards that support PCIe 2.0 are backward compatible with PCIe 1.1, thus you can install latest PCIe 2.0 cards on x16 PCIe slot of current or older motherboards. Latest PCIe 2.0 standards offer double the bandwidth of current PCIe 1.1 standards. The majority of single graphics cards are yet fast enough to fully take advantage of the wider bandwidth of PCIe 2.0. It is the multi-GPU or the multi-card set up that benefit most from PCIe 2.0. PCIe 2.0 and PCIe 1.1 use the x16 PCIe slot format but the PCIe 2.0 slot is capable of sustaining 150 watts while the PCIe 1.1 slot is only capable of 75 watts max. PCIe 3.0 is electrically compatible with previous generations but uses a different encoding scheme to increase the throughput.
