The drawer slides are made of cold rolled steel strips. Thickness ranges from 1mm to 3mm depending upon the quality and the load of the slide.
Though I do not know the manufacturing process of the slides myself(looking for the answer). But i guess it is made by Roll Forming process and CNC punchers to drill holes.
