Mean effective pressure (mep ) is a parameter indicating a engine's performance, which is obtained by dividing mechanical work done in a cycle (W)by volume swept in a cycle (V). Clearly work is the product of pressure and volume or torque and angle. Since torque is a measurable quantity, the work per cycle can be calculated as
W = T * 2pi ( 2 stroke engine), W = T * 4pi ( 4 stroke engine)
therefore
mep = W / V = T * 2pi / V or T * 4pi / V
without cooling engine block may be cracked or eroded and head gasket might be damaged early.
The backplate is simple turning with only some aspects of work holding posing any problems.
cam in an ic engine is made up of HIESPEED STEEL OR THAT CONTAIN HIGH %OF CARBON THAT CONTAIN .2% CARBON
The role of CAD in IC design is to make it more affordable. It does this by speeding up the process.
An air compressor which is used to compress air in a cylinder, that is reducing the volume and increasing the pressure of air is known as positive displacement air compressor. It is used for the compression process in IC engines.

Automobile engines are ic (internal combustion).
IC & EC engines are heat engines and they convert heat into work. Example of an IC engine is a petrol engine and example of an EC engine is Steam Engine. The main differences between them are listed below: 1) Combustion: The main difference is where the combustion takes places. In IC engines fuel combustion takes place inside the cylinder, whereas in EC engines it takes place outside the engine cylinder. 2) The temperature and pressure in an IC engines is much higher than those of EC engines. 3) IC engines are made of materials that are better resistant to heat and pressure than in EC engines. 4) In IC engines the piston is directly connected to connecting rod, whereas in an EC engine there is a stuffing box. 5) Efficiency is higher for IC engines. 6) Boilers are required for EC engines to store water, which is to be converted to steam. But IC engines require only a much smaller tank to store fuel. 7) EC engines, unlike IC engines cannot be started or stopped quickly, because it takes time to initiate boiling of water and generate steam. 8) IC engines are lighter than EC engines. 9) IC engines are cheaper compared to EC engines.

Logically the power delivered by the engine will reduce. I do not have an exact technical idea of reducing the number of cylinders in ic engine.
I.C. engine stands for Internal Combustion engine that cars, trucks, and airplanes use.
