The hearbeat usually heard in an ultrasound about 6 weeks, 12 weeks using fetoscope and using a regular stethoscope about 5 months.
I was told that they can not detect a heart beat before 6 weeks old with a scan. therefore you must be at least 6 weeks pregnant before the scan will pick up the heart beat.
i would have a scan asap
no because the heart isn't all the way developed yet at 7 weeks
Yes, by weeks six to seven there is a large bulge where the heart is and a bump for the head because the brain is developing. The heart begins to beat and can be seen beating on an ultrasound scan.
the babys development and the babys heart beat
go to your doctor and book in for a scan. this happened to me and unfortunately was the beginning of a mis -carriage although it could have been other things. i also had browny discharge. we had a scan and there was no heart beat and found out the baby had died at 6 and a half weeks.
The fetal heartbeat can be heard by the 12th week. You should have a Doppler scan for the heartbeat far before 20 weeks.
how was your scan taken??? at five weeks the fetus is to small to be detected by n ordinary on the stomach ultra sound youd need to have a scan through an insertsion of the vagina. at this stage you will not see a heart beat, if you were told you had the fluid in tour womb and that you were pregnant dont worry you are and should see your baby in a 12 weel scan
My first pregnancy was like this all I had was the sac.. no yolk sac or fetus and I miscarried at 7 weeks. The only way to be sure is if there is a heart beat. I am 9 weeks now and have fetus yolk sac and a heart beat. Ask to hear for a heart beat to be sure.
Hi, I had scan a week back. And at that time i was 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and the tech showed me the heart beat of the baby.I don't have a scientific answer but i replied based on the experience.I .But it depends on individual.
