2010 guidelines would include the use of a tourniquit and possibly use of epi-pen as you may have to ASSIST someone with administering their prescribed epi-pen.
Inhaler use is not covered as it is too difficult and too many variables. Even for us EMT's we still need Medical Direction before we can assist someone with taking a prescribed inhaler.
