Not really. Chi is a made up thing that doesn't really exist - i.e. it has never been measured or shown to exist. Meridians on which this imaginary Chi is supposed to flow are also imaginary. Apparently nobody actually bothered to look for them - they just imagined that they were there and claimed that as fact (like Chi).
It turns out that acupuncture has the same effectiveness no matter where you put the needles. Thus disproving the concept of aliments caused by blocked meridians and the flow of Chi.
It seems the bulk of the "results" from acupuncture are due to the placebo effect, but there may also be some minor effects caused by the irritation of sticking needles in someone... perhaps it simply distracts from the real irritation in the same way that hitting your thumb with a hammer makes you forget that your elbow was sore.
No, because a chiropractor and accupuncturist are two vastly different diciplines. Each has their own separate accreditation process. You need to have the proper certifications in order to perform accupunture. No accupuncture can not be performed by any doctor. There are accupuncture specialist that can perform this procedure. Most are pain relief specialist.
they don't. traditional acupuncture is Chinese.
if you're doing IVF accupuncture is very good for implantation.
It is generally safe, in experienced hands - and sometimes quite effective.
I used accupuncture. It works. Takes 24-48 hours for onset of labour after a session.
Accupuncture is a great alternative treatment. The typical session will last 45 minutes.
No, there is no such thing as witchcraft. Acupuncture is a form of medicine that involves sticking needles in skin tissue to relieve pain.
Try to avoid drugs and instead see a physical therapist for a program of stretching and gentle exercise for the painful areas. Accupuncture is another big help. I was terrified of the idea of accupuncture until my neurologist sent me to a practitioner after my car accident. Thats when I felt a major difference in my pain.
Acupuncture is developed to cure stress, headaches, etc. If you need an acupuncture specialist. I suggest Dr. Alexander Heyne.
My worst weakness is my migraines. They can come on at a moments notice and last for hours. Even with medication, I can not work through them. I have to lie down and depending on how bad they are, I may have to take multiple doses of medication. I have had migraines since I was 12. Accupuncture finally helped and then I was in an accicent and now even that does not help.
In China , some segments of society who think they are "advanced" discourage discussion of the old ways, herbal remedies, accupuncture etc.
You should try and take it easy. Some people find help from medical merijuana. You can also try accupuncture and other alternative therapies like reikie.
