Yes I really think so, in my experience ( i am a nurse tech not a vet) once in the

marajo islands ( island on northern Brazil) in time of my stay in the island occurred that a adult Buffalo had being bitten by an snake in the nose while feeding on the low grass, this buffalo where down and breading fast, and i was

asked to do something due my medical background, i had nothing but a syringe

and baking soda, so i prepared a solution of BS and infused in the buffalo who for my surprise where walking about in the next 3 hours and completed healthy

in a week

Will a snake bite kill us?

That depends on the type of snake that bites you ! If it's a non-venomous species - simply wiping the bite area with antiseptic is enough protection against infection. Snake venom potency varies from species to species. Some venom is relatively harmless, yet other venom can kill in seconds !

Why does snake poison not kill their predator when they eat it?

Snake venom is not a poison. The only way the venom can kill is if it is injected or can some way get into the blood of body tissues. If it is eaten, it is simply digested as any food item would be.
