Normally, a Parent would feel more protective of a girl than a boy( since there is a prejudice that boy is much stronger than a girl). However, it is better that the girl starts to get used to her own space rather than sleeping with her father.

How old is your Daughter? and why does she have to tell? It can be embaressing but if the daughter is 8 or under. It's semi normal. Dont mke your daughter tell. You tell the parents. If the daughter is 9 or over i suggest not telling. Of corse thatd sompletly up to yuor daughter. Give her the option. If she feels confortable. If your trying to tell because shes going to have a sleep over or soemthing sleep in a different place over than the bed. As a test run you could do it the night before the sleep over and see if she still wets it. If she dosnt: you found a place to sleep. If she still does: wake your daughter up early and make sure the other guest (s) stay asleep.
In my option, to me it normal, because I get tired everyday and it's probably because I don't enough sleep, so I have a question for you do you sleep late?
It is if you're not getting enough sleep - teens and kids need 10 hours of sleep a night!
It is normal for teenagers to need more sleep due to their changing bodies and busy schedules. However, excessive sleeping could be a sign of underlying issues such as depression, anxiety, or a sleep disorder. It is important to monitor your daughter's sleeping habits and consult a healthcare professional if you have concerns about her excessive sleeping.
