How do you know if a boy if circumcised?

If his penis head shows all the time, even when he's soft, then he is probably circumcised. The presence of a circumcision scar is the surest tell tale sign of circumcision.

If his penis head is covered by skin when he is soft, then he is uncircumcised. The skin can be pulled back, and it frequently slides back off the head as a man starts to get an erection.

If you are circumcised, then the head of your penis will always be exposed. If you are uncircumcised, the head of your penis will be covered by the foreskin when your penis is not erect.

However, the statement above is not necessarily correct as there are some intact men with short foreskins that barely cover the head leaving it partly or completely exposed. The surest way to tell whether you have been circumcised or not is the presence of the circumcision scar.

On uncircumcised boys, skin covers the head of the penis. The foreskin can be retracted (pulled back) to expose the head of the penis. If you do not have foreskin covering your penis, you can reliably feel certain that you were circumcised as an infant. Also, on the side of the penis closest to your body, you can see or feel gathering of skin. That is the healed remains of where the foreskin was cut.
