They would be able to survive for some time, probably 8-9 minutes without becoming unconcious. They will not breath in the water as when all animals(that includes humans) are underwater, we have a natural instinct to hold our breath, we dont need to "learn" how to hold our breath, if we needed to learn then we would all drown in our mothers womb. Adults are more likely to drown than babies because adults pannic and gag underwater, causing them to choke and cough, which in turn causes them to start breathing water. babies have no such sence of pannic at a new born age.
If a baby is born underwater using the birthing method known as "Water birth" (a method of giving birth, which involves immersion in warm water.) it can survive underwater momentarily until you take it out of the water and takes its first breath. This is not to say that a baby born in water becomes capable of extended survival underwater like mythical mermaid.
If they survive predators, babies will become adults with a long lifespan.
Garden snails can survive in water for a short period of time, usually up to 30 minutes. However, they are not adapted to living underwater for extended periods and may drown if submerged for too long.
No, they don't. They cannot survive long underwater. If they are put under water for too long they will die.
i found out the hard way,the babies dont survive in extreme cold or hot
Underwater
Yes, some snails can survive underwater by breathing through their skin or using a special breathing tube.
There is really no telling how many babies survive everyday.
no
Yes they can.
Monkeys cannot survive underwater, they'd need gills like fish. Since they have lungs they could only survive underwater for a short period of time.
Bees cannot breathe underwater as they rely on oxygen from the air to survive. If a bee were to become submerged in water, it would drown within a few minutes.
