4 days...but its not soo much the person, its more of the muscles in the body...like the muscles in the eyelids that start getting heavy...the brain focuses on sleep related actions like sitting on the couch...or leaning up against something...the muscles in your body begin to start getting heavy where is your mind is awake and thinking constantly but your body has shut down and its harder to do anything...you are past that tired phase into the completely delusional phase and it becomes a full on battle with yourself to stay awake...

I have personally stayed up for 8 days. On the eve of the 4th day I began to hallucinate. It sounds fun but it can be dangerous. I had licked gummy bears and covered an entire door and don't remember doing it.
