it can vary with experience and AS or BS degrees and hospitals tend to pay more then private practices normally xray tech at a hospital on first entry make 20 hr up
xray tech...how needs doctors anyway!
I am a licensed xray tech in Thurston County, WA and I make $18.00 an hour. (I am not an RT which is the 2 year program. )
i would have to say about 80,000 dollars
it would depend. if your a perfessional you earn more than begginer. it also depends on what the cost they make amd on the company
Baker College in Owosso is a great place to learn to be a x-ray tech.
No. An xray tech would not make enough in income to possibly finance (get a loan for) a car worth that much unless the car was very used, or he managed to save enough cash in his lifetime to purchase one later. Xray tech pay maxes out at a relatively low rate. Perhaps become a doctor or another profession that pays better.
yep especially if you have any felonies also
It depends on where your from, but it usually takes about 2-3 years
All medical and support staff are required to know CPR.
Depends what state but avg here in California is $17/hour BUT you should work for an outsourcing agency that specializes in placing techs wherever they are needed for the day/week/month. These outfits charge the hospital as an independent service and pay you often more also, $25/hour and up.
It takes about a year to become an x-ray technician. Local technical schools like the University Of Phoenix offer classes and certification. You can search schools and online programs at http://radiologytechnicianschools.net/.
An xray technician certificate allows the bearer to be able to use the diagnostic equipment and take images of the body using the different types of xray equipment available.
