Chondromalacia Patella also known as runners knee...Firstly, Chondromalacia Patella is where the patella (knee cap) is rubbing against the trochlea grove of the femor and is becoming irritated and inflammed. It differs from Osteoarthritis as the damage to the cartillage is repairable...Treatment options..Rest! you need to rest from aggrevating activities.Work on strengthening your quadriceps mostly (non weight bearing exercises, leg extensions etc).some strength work also on your hamstring (non weight bearing exercises, leg curls etc). Also stretching your quadriceps and hamstrings may help..Swimming will help you keep fit whilst resting as it removes the load from the patello femoral joint, which is causing the pain.I'm not a doctor (covering myself here) but i hear that Non-steroidal Anti Inflammatories reduce inflammation (for short term relief).... Ibuprofen. They may help you strengthen your muscles if leg exercises give you pain.
Yes, I think that a doctor should acknowledge and honor just about anything a patient says. If the patient is ignored or feels ignored, then the doctor needs to try to help the patient so they can keep the patient with his/her services. I have had a patient that threatened to sue the hospital because I called her to late at night. All patients should be Honored and Respected. J. Idol, MD Neurologist NC

doctor
A doctor should be contacted immediately if a rash develops.
the doctor
an doctor needs to be flexible an reliable towars his patient ! The first and foremost quality of a doctor should be to sympathize with the sufferings of the patient and extend a helping hand with a positive outlook.
He/She should terminate (or discharge) the patient.
The Doctor is the one licensed to give out what type of drugs should be given to the patient and in what dosage depending on the condition of the patient or the age and weight of the patient.
The doctor may notice your tattoo and say something about it but unless it is offensive to them, it should not effect your doctor and patient relationship
for a doctor to offer the services the patient must take part in all the process of being treated. Patient should be there when the surgery is taking place, when being injected etc. In short the doctor can not offer his services if there is no patient.
