I'm not sure about dailies, but I wear the two week ones for months at a time and have had no eye trouble at all. I've done this for about 10 years and never have any problems at my check-ups. I'm sure the contact companies would tell you not to though.
Generally, You can wear contacts daily. But it depends on what kind of contacts you have. Most people wear them...7 times a week..
Yes
I have contacts & I asked the same question. You can wear any make-up you want after you put your contacts in.[:
Longer lasting contact lenses are more durable that daily or weekly wear contact lenses. The most durable set of contact lenses available from 1 800 contacts would be Air Optix.
Yes. There are contacts that you can wear for 6 months as long as you take care of them, there are also soft contacts that are called daily disposables that you can throw away after wearing them for 1 day.
I have always used longer lasting lenses, for a month for example. Monthly subscriptions or 2 week ones are a bit cheaper than the daily contacts. It also depends on the brand. But most of the time, daily contacts are a bit more expensive. I have switched to daily contacts though, because I need a fresh new pair everyday, it's worth the money for me. Since I wear makeup, makeup would get into my eyes and ruin my contacts, thats why I need daily contacts. Also, people like construction workers would probably prefer daily contacts lenses as well, due to the environment they work in.
Unless you only rarely need glasses, it would be wise to have some sort of contacts. I suggest either night contacts or one-use daily contacts.
Coastal Contacts carries weekly wear and monthly wear contacts in a variety of brands.
Yes, you can wear contacts at the age of 12.
That is up to the individual. Many people cannot wear contacts.
no
If you wear single use contacts you are at no higher risk. If you wear contacts that have to be sterilised between wearings you are at a higher risk. If you don't clean them properly you are at risk of parasites from tapwater and all sorts of horrible things. However proper cleaning protects you. I have worn contacts for about 15 years in total (when I was younger)and didn't have a single eye infection.
