Though some folks think it's above average even for an adult you may find this view more helpful.

Boys and girls grow up at different rates, though usually girls have a growth spurt when younger than boys. Size is partly determined by our parents' genes, and their parents'. But size is greatly affected by eating habits. It won't come as news that if you eat a lot, you tend to get fat. And there are very many overweight kids around. So if you favor burgers with double everything, you are likely to need larger sizes in underwear. Another thing worth remembering is that our personal shape is something that some of us are comfortable with, and some of us are plain unhappy about.

If that unhappiness helps us eat more if we are too skinny (rare!) or push back from the table sooner if we are heavy, and get a little exercise it's a good thing.

But sad to tell, some girls are unhappy about their 'vital dimensions' - they find the attention from young males not specially welcome - because it focusses only on surface features - and that's not the way to find good friends.

For this group, it is quite easy to not accentuate the positive too much, and find that helps them get along. Cosmetic operations for size reductions can be difficult and expensive, so it's better not to dwell on this avenue.

It is a large size if you are petite. But the good news is that there are some girls who "blossom" all at once, then never change. Get your mom to take you to a really good underwear fitter to make sure that your back won't hurt in later life. It can make the difference if you get properly fitting Bras. And like the person above me, watch your weight. To camoflage your suddenly new figure, wear a blouse that does not gap at the buttons, and do not wear tight tee shirts...they will draw attention to your figure. A light jacket over your shirt will help too. Just don't wear clothes that hug your curves.
