Yes. Like any smoke, it contains high levels of particulate matter as well as toxic gases associated with combustion. The most immediately danger is that of Carbon Monoxide, which by itself is odorless and tasteless. Even if the Carbon Monoxide doesn't get you, the other components of the smoke can cause pulmonary burns, edema (fluid in the lungs), and death. Exposure to low levels of the smoke can be injurious over time and expose you other airborne toxins and carcinogens.
