Well there is nothing that says directly that you cant get a piercing after surgery however consider this, you are going to put your body thru a great deal of trauma with the wisdom extraction. You will not feel it due to the drugs you will be given but trust me you will be taxing your bodies immune system and that is not a good time to get a nostril piercing. Give yourself at least 5 days post surgery before getting you nose done, this should, with rest and a good diet between extraction and nostril piercing, give your body a chance to get things in check and stay on top of what it has to deal with. There are a lot of professional body piercers who wont provide a service to you if you have just under gone a heavy procedure like a wisdom tooth extraction, so give yourself and your body a break between procedures Your piercing and your body will love you for it.
It depends on the surgery that you are getting, the hospital that you go to, and the type of piercing that you have, but normally they let you keep it in as long as the jewelry is not metal
NOO! They pierce with nickel and you need to pierce with gold! If you pierce with nickel you can get serious infections like me and all my friends that got them done there. Some have to have surgery... so no would be the answer. A good place to get them pierced is Piercing Pagoda.
Holes in the skin caused by decorative piercing will in some cases heal by themselves, and in other cases they won't; it depends upon how long the piercing remained in place. The longer you remain pierced, the harder it becomes for that hole ever to close on its own. Scars can be treated by means of plastic surgery, but even with plastic surgery there could be some residual trace of the scar. Plastic surgery is not perfect. If you are concerned about the possibility of having a permanent scar in your belly as a result of a piercing, I suggest that you don't get pierced in the first place. Nobody really needs to get pierced.
Before you get anything else pierced, you should wait until your surgery has completely healed. You do not want to do anything that could get it infected.
getting an ear piercing has nothing to do with a knee surgery so you should be fine.
It shouldn't present a problem unless you get infected and the infection persists until the time of operation. Any infection present during surgery increases the risk of complications. They may ask you to remove the jewelry for the procedure but you can just get a retainer for it by going to a professional piercer or going to a reliable body jewelry store online
I've only heard of reconstructive surgery for larger gauge ear piercings. Howver, you should look into getting your ears pierced at a larger gauge to remove the scar tissue. That way you could let them heal without the scar tissue stopping you.
Tom Kaulitz, the guitarist of the band Tokio Hotel, got his lip pierced in 2010. This piercing became a signature look for him, adding to his rockstar image. The piercing was a topic of interest among fans and media outlets, further solidifying his unique style within the music industry.
i wouldn't suggest it
Depends on the operation. You definitely want to wait till your immune system is back to normal, meaning after you've healed from the surgery. You don't want your body trying to heal from the surgery and the piercing at the same time because it'll increase the risk of infection. Also, make sure to wait until after your last follow up/check up for the surgery. You dont want to have to remove it for anything. Its a good idea to just ask your doctor when you'll be able to do it just to cover all bases :)
You should wait until you are off any medication relating to the surgery, and the wound from the surgery is visibly healed.
you can use coco butter
