Could be a keloid. If the scar itches, burns, or feels like it's bumpy, go back to your dermatologist or doctor. I've had that happen. The derm gave me a shot of something and the keloid went away.

It is not a good idea. You are likely to cause a large scar where the mole is. And if the mole should be cancerous, it could cause it to spread.

Removing a mole is best done by a plastic surgeon who understands how the skin will pull around the wound and can cut in such a way as to minimise the pulling and therefore the scar.
You do not remove moles, you leave them alone. If any mole changes colour or shape, bleeds, becomes itchy or sore medical attention should be sought.
