Red face (after a while gets blue), bulging eyes, hands around neck, swelling of blood vessels on neck.

There are two types of choking: foreign object fully blocking the airway or a partial block of the airway.

When there is a full block of the airway, the person will not be able to produce any sound. If the blocking is only partial, wheezing sound will be heard.

Causes for choking other than foreign objects: allergic reactions, Asthma
