On xray films black black is air, pure white is very dense, like a metal ring or coin. Gray colors might be tissue, muscle, tendons, etc. The denser the part the whiter it will be. That is why bones appear white.
This was seen in an xray along with a fracture. Also seen were the words significant effusion. All these terms were on the xray. I am asking what do vascular calcification and significant effusion mean. Thank You.
Not if you don't want to... The functions of the x-ray machine will not be obstructed by body hair.
my daugther chest xray found that her chest xray results that there are densities in the perihilar areas with some nodular densities within. and it consider a primary koch's infection
An opaque area on an X-ray typically indicates an area of increased density or thickness in the body. This could be caused by conditions such as fluid buildup, inflammation, infection, or a tumor. Further imaging or tests may be needed to determine the exact cause.
areas which are less dense and have allowed more xrays to pass through. eg Black = air, softer tissues. White= bone/ calcification
I'm unable to display images or x-rays directly. However, you can easily find knee x-ray images through medical databases, educational websites, or by consulting a healthcare professional. If you have specific questions about knee x-rays or their interpretation, feel free to ask!
