Heat stroke can be caused by dehydration. The human body needs to sweat to keep cool, and if the body does not have enough water to manufacture sweat, it becomes deyhydrated and stops sweating.

It can also by caused by high humidity which keeps sweat from evaporating. Symptoms can include red, hot, dry skin, rapid heart rate, dizziness, and confusion. The dizziness and confusion come from the high body temperature, which affects the brain.
