Boys generally worry about physicals and doctors (especially females) messing with their "privates". At that age (11 or 12) pediatricians (kid doctors) rarely have kids undress. When kids are in their later teens, they will be asked to lower their pants, the doctor will feel for a hernia by asking the teen to turn their head and cough while the doctor feels above the testicles, nextto the penis. There is no medical reason to "feel" the penis, even for a second. If the doctor "feels" your penis for 2 seconds or more he or she is "fondling" you and I would report it to my parents and refuse to return to that doctor.

They will measure your height and weight to make sure you are growing well. They will ask a lot of questions about how you are doing in life, school etc.

The physical will involve looking in the eyes and ears and mouth, listening to the heart and lungs, feeling the abdomen, examining the joints and skin etc. Generally, the unless there is a concern, the private parts will be examined enough to make sure you are normal which usually doe snot involve anything invasive or extensive.

Then they may check your hearing, vision and urine and make sure your shots are up to date.

10. asking if you have started your period yet - you might be set up for a GYN exam especially if you are having problems
