What do you do for a bad sunburn?

Easy fixYou can buy different types of creams to put on it but the best way to help is to put aloe vera on it. It soothes the burning and helps it heal much faster! Also try to take anti-inflamitory medication. Drink alot of water.

To prevent the sunbun from getting worse DO NOT take warm baths or showers, DO NOT go into the sun and DO NOT scratch the skin or aggrivate it, this might relieve the itchiness at that exact time, but it will only worsen the case!

Recently there have been medical information coming out that recommends the best thing to do for a burn is to simply leave it alone. As a child we always used aloe vera but professionals are starting to determine that keeping the burn clean and leaving it alone might be the best way for healing.

my mom always had us soak in a cool bath first, after we got out she would pat us down with white vinigar to cool us down further, then she would pat us down litely with aloe vera lotion. Seemed to work Quite well! by BOB.

i either put aloe vera on it or you can take a bath in nice cold milk and that will reduce the pain and if the pain comes back then just get perscriptions nottified by your doctor and the redness and pain will be gone in about a few days.

You need to cool down the skin as soon as possible, preferably with a substance like spray-on aloe. Continue to apply it as often as possible. You could also take some paracetamol such as Advil, Tylenol or Panadol to ease the pain. Other than that, there's not much you can do but wait for it to go away, and make sure you stay out of the sun.

You can go to Wal*Mart and get Lanacaine, Latacaine, or Dermoplast and spray that on you and take a Tylenol and try to lay down
