there are many different types of POTS syndrome. i have a form called dysautonomia. you tend to pass out a lot. its a problem with your blood pressure. you might want to try a medication, drinking more water and eating more salt. there are also other problems that come along with it. if you have it really bad, you have to be bed ridden. this actually killed people a long time ago. mostly teen girls get it. some people have it for the rest of their life.

Can you die from postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome?

While POTS can significantly impact your quality of life and cause symptoms like fatigue and dizziness, it is not typically life-threatening by itself. However, complications related to falls or fainting resulting from POTS could potentially lead to serious injuries. It's important to work with healthcare professionals to manage symptoms and reduce the risk of such complications.

Can you have postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome but not faint?

What do you mean by faint? I mean you can black out with POTS but still retain awarness/conciousness but if you havent blacked out or fainted then I doubt you have POTS. <This is absolutely untrue. Most POTS patients have never fainted, but suffer nonetheless. Being in a state of near syncope still includes nausea, extreme anxiety as the adrenaline is pumping through you, tremors, inability to walk go to work, take care of your family. Countless doctors have said that POTS cannot kill you just kill your lifestyle. For an adult it changes your life drastically. There is hope, but your life will change.>
