A T2 weighted image, on a MRI, is not diagnostic, in and of itself. T2 hyperintensity could represent tumor, infarction, hemorrhage, or trauma, for instance. In the context of the clinical picture, the MRI is extremely helpful. If there has been no trauma, then the location and appearance of the T2 hyperintensity can point to a vascular cause versus a space-occupying lesion. The clinical course of the patient will cinch the diagnosis, when combined with the MRI findings - in cases such as these.

In the case of a mass in the brainstem of a child, the most common cause would be that of a brainstem glioma. These account for anywhere between 10-20% of all brain tumors in children. However, this is not the only possibility (see above).

What is the effective mass of spring?

The effective mass of a spring is the mass that would behave the same way as the spring when subjected to a force or acceleration. It is a concept used in physics to simplify calculations in systems involving springs. The effective mass of a spring depends on its stiffness and the mass it is attached to.

Which is A child weighing 20 kg sitting inside a car of mass 1000 kg moves with a velocity of 10 m s What is the momentum of the child?

-- "20 kg" is the child's mass, not her weight.-- The car's mass doesn't matter.The child's momentum is (M V) = (20) (10) = 200 kilogram-meters per second.

What weight of a child is 210 n what is his mass?

The weight of the child is 210 N, which is equivalent to approximately 21.4 kg because 1 N is equivalent to 0.102 kg in Earth's gravity. Mass is a measure of the amount of matter in an object, so the mass of the child would also be 21.4 kg.

Does a child and a bicycle have the same mass?

Does fire have mass?

Yes, fire is a result of a chemical reaction involving combustion, and the products of combustion have mass. The flame itself is a visible light emitted by hot gases and particles, but the fire as a whole does have a mass which comes from the matter being consumed in the process.

The mass number of a nucleus decreases during which nuclear reactions?

The mass number of a nucleus decreases during nuclear reactions involving alpha decay, beta decay, and neutron emission. In these reactions, the nucleus loses mass as particles are emitted, resulting in a decrease in the mass number.
