fist check for and danger then speak in each ear a bit loud are uOK if there is no reply then shake them lightly by the shoulders if there is still no reply check if airways are blocked by opening the mouth if you see some thing in the mouth do not put your fingers inside her/his mouth to remove it you must sit person up and lean towards knees then do back slaps until it is out after u have inspected the mouth open airways to do this u must put one hand on his/her forehead and two fingers under chin and tilt head back then place your ear while holding head back above the mouth to see if breathing while doing that look at the persons chest to see the chest is moving if they are put in recovery position if not take off jacket of there is one then go to centre of chest put then bottom palm of one hand there then place other hand on top and Begin CPR remember to check if person is breathing

A conscious person you check for a good pulse, check the pupils of the eyes, speak to the person and find out where he or she hurts, is having any type of trouble, make the patient comfortable, treat any bleeding, burns, open wounds and treat for shock if person is shocky. Do not move patient if it is possible the person has injured his or her neck. Car accident victims should stay in the car unless the car is liable to catch on fire. Fire victims: keep patient calm. treat burns if not serious, treat smoke inhalation with oxygen if you have it and get emergency help. Drowning victims who are conscious need to bring up as much water as possible and be wrapped in warm blankets and taken to the hospital.

An unconscious person: you tap the person and ask them if they are ok. Check for breathing, heartbeat, color of skin. Do CPR if needed. Check the patient for any medications such as nitro glycerin and insulin and sugar. Check for a medic alert bracelet or card or necklace. Do not move the victim if you suspect an injury to the neck or spine. If the patient is bleeding stop the bleeding. Loosen tight clothing and keep an eye on their pulse.
