An X-ray is a type of medical scan. Several types of scanning tests can be used to make a diagnosis, depending on the situation. An X-ray is primarily used to determine if there is damage to bones such as a fracture or dislocated joint, locate a foreign object (i.e., bullet, a swallowed toy, etc), diagnose certain diseases (example-pneumonia) or to get a general idea of where to focus a more detailed scan of soft tissues. It is performed by placing the patient between a specialized type of film and a radiation source, which can be targeted at any given point of the body. It creates a picture that is then viewed by an X-ray technician, nurse, physician assistant or physician in order to help make his/her diagnosis. There are also CAT scans, MRI's, ultrasounds, and PET scans, all of which use different technology to be able to view inside the body in varying levels of detail.

A head scan looks primarily at the brain and a sinus scan looks only at the sinuses in the face region.
i would have to say about 80,000 dollars
The information after the word "Findings" would mean the Radiologist's interpretation of the CT scan.
Scan results in an image of your document being sent to your computer whereas copy puts an image of your original on paper.
Depends. 3D x-ray could mean CT scan, but there are many scans that are 3D. Around $1000 privately for a plain CT scan.
