I haven't heard of a critical care paramedic but I have heard of a critical care ambulance. Those ambulances are equipped with ventilators and IV drip machines (its actual name escape me)

I know there is none in Peel Region, but a Critical Care Paramedic (There are only 45 of them in Ontario) will be making $100 000 or more a year Either way you are making a great stable salary, now take into consideration how much more will be earned with over time and the more experience you acquire. But don't get into this profession for the money, it's about helping people!
