I'm assuming you're referring to the average retirement age of surgeons; it's probably around 60-70 usually, but it can extend way beyond that.

The reason most retire around that age is not due to a loss of manual dexterity skills (true for some), but mainly due to such a vast accumulation of wealth that a surgeon, if he retires around 60-70, can live the good life from then on.
