Well the more energy a ray has the faster it goes so i think people are mistaking light the fastest when it is x rays. More energy does not neccessarily make a ray go faster, otherwise you would see the bright part of a picture before you would see the darker parts.
All electromagnetic waves move at the same speed, at least in vacuum. X-rays and microwaves ... as well as radio, infrared, ultraviolet, heat, and visible light ... are all electromagnetic waves, and travel at the same speed.
They both travel the same speed, the speed of light about 300,000 km per second or 186,000 miles per second.
Radiated energy of: light heat radio microwaves x-rays cosmic rays gamma rays and so on.
X-rays have higher energy than microwaves.
As long as the x-ray and the microwave are in the same medium, they're both traveling at the same speed. So are radio waves, TV waves, heat waves, and every color of visible light.
microwaves
Radiation energy is a form of energy that travels in electromagnetic waves or particles. These waves can be in the form of radio waves, microwaves, visible light, X-rays, or gamma rays.
Electromagnetic energy travels in waves. These waves include visible light, radio waves, microwaves, and X-rays, among others.
Electromagnetic radiation is energy that travels in waves in all directions. It includes radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays.
Of course they are.
