Answer

Most people enter Dental School after earning their bachelor's degree. Once in Dental school a student takes a full load of classes in sciences, and preclinical work. Many of the courses are the same as medical school courses including gross anatomy, head and neck anatomy physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and pathology. They also do extensive practice on dummies for different proceedures. They begin seeing patients about their 3rd year in dental school. Faculty instructors are there for students if they need assistance. Students see numerous patients for the next 2 years before they take and pass a licensing exam so they can practice in the general public.
