you should just run it under hot water until it feels not numb

Warm them up slowly...place them under your arms or a warm (but not hot) source of heat. The reason you dont want it too hot is because your fingers may be too numb to realize you are getting burned

Mittens are great for snow play. They are not as bulky as snow gloves and do not separate your fingers as much. You can purchase thermal mittens, which are great because they keep your fingers warm and dry!

You should go outside and play in the snow if the snow calms down.. or if you have hot coco then you could sit down snuggle up in blankets and watch a nice holiday movie :)

Obviously with the rise in virtual learning it would be easy enough to eliminate the snow day altogether. However, I think kids should still be able to have a day or two a year to just be kids, have fun, and enjoy the snow.
The hair on their paws helps them stay warm as they walk on the ice and snow. It keeps them from getting numb "frostbite"
Between 12 - 16 Degree C is the perfect temperature to play football. Its important you stay cool. You don't want it to be so cold that your fingers & toes go numb & you dont want ur lungs to inhale extremely cold temperatures.
