dr. charles richard drew invented the blood bank in 1937
I'm Sorry, but it was NOT Dr. Charles Drew. Dr. Charles Drew is credited with building a lot of blood banks during early WWII which began in 1939, not inventing them. Sergei Sergeevich Yudin built the world's first blood bank in March 23, 1930.
(I'm a proud descendant, which is why I know for sure <(-_-)> ). That, and there are also online sources to verify.

None would be dead if the blood bank was not invented.

Yes the "blood bank" was invented by Charles Richard Drew in 1940.
He invented a blood bank... He invented it in
The first blood bank ever invented was in New York, by Charles Drew.
The blood bank was invented to store and preserve blood for transfusions, allowing for quicker access to needed blood types in emergency situations and reducing the risk of transmitting diseases through blood transfusions. It has since become a critical component of modern healthcare systems worldwide.
The first "blood depot" was established in Britain during World War I.
he HELPED invent it andit was in America that he invented it in 1940 it was a blood bank that helped people around the country.
Are you serious Dr Charles Drew invented the blood bank and it helped people a lot. The above statement is completely inaccurate. Drew did contribute significantly setting up a large scale blood bank infrastructure before WWII. The Soviets however set up the first blood banks in the 1930's. The first blood bank in the US, and the very term "blood bank", was set up by a Hungarian-American Jew named Bernard Fantus in Chicago in 1937. Dr. Charles Drew was certainly an extraordinary figure but he is surrounded by a cloud of pure mythology.
