Doctors are not ignorant. They have many years of education and internship behind them before they ever practice on their own. Doctors are required to complete continuing education requirements and are on top of their particular medical field.
From AllHorses101: Some doctors can be ignorant when you tell them about symptoms and they do not listen. However, most doctors are learned and know what they are doing. Otherwise they would not be doctors. :D

She was ignorant of the facts and spoke without understanding the situation.
I do not know how your doctors are, but our doctors in IRAN do their best for evaluation of the patient. neuropathy usually afflicts abdomen and back lastly and usually if afect foot and hands you must do EMG and NCV to study what kind of neuropathy you have. Yes it certainly can. Many ignorant doctors try and avoid the difficult work with testing and researching the cause. I suggest to get a thorough neurological examination and all thorough testings done to rule out any diseases. You must try and investigate your problem and not rely on your doctor to do everything as most doctors are ignorant as hell and don't care of your suffering. Doctors just want to use patients as pill dispensers for profit rather than taking the time to find the problem. Doctors can kill patients and get away with it without impunity. If you are worried about your health ask your Doctor to send you for assessment by a Neurologist.
