3-5 hours after your visit. Depending on how many injections were made.
Tooth aches can be taken away by tooth treatment by a dentist, or by tooth extraction.
i had a tooth pulled and was numbed with lidocaine they tryed to numb a nother tooth that was infected and it wouldn't numb so what i want to no is do they use lidocaine or novacaine to pull a tooth
It is not normal. But you have to realize that it is not rare or unusual. Partial numbness called parasthesia is a well known temporary effect in many surgical procedures including orodental ones.
Best advice to you, contact a lawyer and sue that dentist for malpractice.
3 (the source is my dentist, he just referred me to get my root canal done on 15th)
Dentists and orthodontists count differently, which is confusing to us humans. Canines are '3' to the dentist. They are 6 and 11 to the orthodontist, I think. So if people's third tooth is the canine, is a dog's 3rd tooth a 'human'?
My tongue has been numb for 3 weeks!! The dentist called the novocaine Silver novocaine. I am on meds. to help the damaged nerves and pain. I don't what to do at this point. i am afraid of this Dentist to finish the root canaleNovocaine usually wears off in 3-4 hours time
And you seriously think we would know that better than a dentist.
Why is my lip and cheek still numb where my tooth was extracted, 3 weeks after novocain wore off?
Just got it done on a tooth that's been broken for over 3 years. He took a ground up tooth, which is treated to bond with itself, and filled it into the opening where the old tooth was. This keeps a solid substructure for your tooth so if you want to get an implant later on there is something to implant into. Otherwise you just have gums.
It will make a new clot big risk for dry socket any increase in pain 3 days after call the dentist
