their are lots of differed reasons why people may need a psychologist to help them with their needs in the psychiatrist aspect, a person who has a mental illness like bipolar or depression will need psychologist to help Diagnose them with their mental illness and treat them professionally, as they can get to the source of the problem, and help by undangling deep un-rooted problems by looking into the person social up bringing ,or see if their illness was cause by drug addiction etc... And prescribe drugs . People need Counselling by a psychologist beacuse they my not be able to handle personal problems alone.
