This will depend on how old you are, what you burnt yourself with and how bad the burn was.
The elderly heal very well because their skin regenerates at a much slower rate. In younger people, the body moves so fast the regenerate that it doesn't take time to match the pattern of the skin, thus a scar is formed.
Hope this helps :D

You have a scar on your hand. How did you get that scar?
No. How much of a scar is left is dependant on the cut, the size and type of suture, and type of stitch. If a small size suture is used for a continuous stitch, then generally the injury heals very well. It's the interrupted stitch that leaves the "railroad" scar. If you ever have a large cut on your face, always ask for a plastic surgeon. This assures that the scar will be as minimal as possible.
The story behind the cat with a scar on its face is that it likely got the scar from a fight or an accident. Cats can get into scuffles with other animals or get injured while exploring their surroundings. The scar is a visible reminder of a past event that caused harm to the cat's face.
