∙ 18y agoDoctors are scientists, not psychics. Your doctor was making his best guess with what information he had. Chances are the scan provided more detailed information and is more correct. The exact date of conception is nearly impossible to figure out unless the woman can say with certainty.

∙ 18y agoX-rays are just about never "healthy", but if your physician knew that you were pregnant then he'd have made the decision whether the advantage to you would have been worth the risk for the baby.
Ultrasound predictions of how far along someone is get worse and worse the longer the person is pregnant. An ultrasound predicting 28 weeks pregnant could be 2 weeks off (either more or less); by the end of pregnancy, they can be as many as three weeks off. The best ultrasounds to get to predict due dates are those done in the first trimester (first three months). In this case, having an ultrasound predicting 28 weeks pregnant and a physician predicting 30 could be about the same thing. "Feeling" 30-32 weeks pregnant also isn't the best predictor either, as different physicians and nurses may estimate differently. Hope this helps! Dr. B.
If the doctor knows you are 30 weeks pregnant and wants to do it, it's probably safe. If you have questions, talk to the doctor and find out if there are any risks and what they are.
Go see a doctor and have a test done and a ultrasound.
When one is forty weeks pregnant, the baby is basically done developing and is ready to be part of the world. The baby's internal organs should be working as well. One will experience increased pains due to pressure when one is forty weeks pregnant.
no way that would be silly and could harm your baby!!! hope i helped :-) at 7 weeks not much harm could be done on a little ride like that but if more then 10 weeks and it gets dangerous
If you are really pregnant , you will not get your periods till your delivery is done.
my doctor said getting xrays done is the most dangerous for your baby in the first trimester.
I was going in for a pap smear but my doctor didnt do the pap smear. it turned out that I am 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Your doctor shouldn't have done it mine said she wont do it until im 12 weeks.
I miscarried at 13 weeks and I had a D&C done the same day before I left the hospital
You should have an ultrasound done if you believe you may be pregnant with twins, at seven weeks the uterus is behind your pelvic bone, not yet visible except by trans-vaginal scan.
There is a high chance you probably are pregnant. Best chance is to get a test done.
