After getting a medical abortion you have to go for the checkup 2 weeks later. If there is something left inside they have to give you a D%C, a surgical abortion. You can bleed 3-4 weeks but you have to go for that checkup. If not everything is out you can get an infection and become sterile if it goes untreated. This is the reason why you go to the doctor to have an abortion. They would tell you these things and you would have somewhere to turn for help. Even in the links I post for ppl who can not get an abortion in their home country does it say you have to go fort a checkup after 2 weeks. Go see your doctor now!
