I'm not a mechanic / technician but what I found after a Google search is :P1000 on a Ford means :( OBD II monitor testing is not complete )Potential causes :- the battery or PCM has been disconnected- the diagnostic trouble codes have been cleared- an OBD monitor concern occured before completion of the drive cycle( it is a common DTC code , very minor , just ignore - should go away in time )or you can complete the drive cycle
its a pcm code telling you the computer hasn't finished running its test on emission systems on your car. after normal driving that includes stop and go, idling, and off and on it should go off on its own after awhile. could take a week or more. its safe to drive with this code since its not a trouble code but rather an information code letting you know. usually it comes on after the battery has been unplugged/dead for a period of time, you used a code scanner to clear other codes you might have had. if it does happen to find something wrong with your emissions system it will throw another code on top of the p1000 and will remain on till the other code is fixed and it runs another test.
