Retroauricular lymphnodes are those lymph nodes that are behind the auricles or the pinna of the ears.
Anatomical areas that do not have a major concentration of lymph nodes include the central nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord, as well as the bones and the inner ear. These areas are generally less involved in immune responses and have limited lymphatic drainage. Additionally, the palms of the hands and soles of the feet also typically lack significant lymph node concentrations.
The hilum is the medial depression in the kidney where the blood and lymph vessels and nerves enter.
Properly called the trachea, the windpipe is surrounded by several structures. These anatomical structures, include the thyroid gland, lymph nodes, esophagus. carotid arteries, epiglottis and cervical vertebrae.

lymph capillary Lymph fluid is filtered in lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are along lymph vessels which that run along blood vessels. Lymph vessels draw in interstitial fluid (fluid between cells) and it them becomes lymph fluid. Lymph nodules are in connective tissue in place of high traffic and does not function as a filter because it's not along a lymph vessel.
