A lipoleiomyoma is a rare type of benign tumor that primarily occurs in the uterus, composed of smooth muscle tissue (leiomyoma) and fat (lipo-). It is considered a variant of uterine leiomyomas, commonly known as fibroids. While generally asymptomatic, it can sometimes cause symptoms like pelvic pain or abnormal bleeding. Diagnosis is typically made through imaging studies, and treatment may involve surgical removal if necessary.
